OpenCTI 100 is a client-server application with lean clients for access to non-OS-specific computer telephony. The third-party solution offers server services for the administration andconfiguration of the clients and a centralised address book. The client applications are generated directly on the server using JavaServer Pages, which means that a simply HTML browser is sufficient to make use of the clients. The big advantage of this solution is that installation and configuration are not required on the workstations.

The OpenCTI 200 solution is a Java-based client application with a broad functionality and a high level of user convenience. The functionality is derived directly from the tried-and-tested OpenDesk solution. Installation requirements on the client side are limited to installing the suitable Java Runtime Environment, which is usually available.
